description: A large transparent lovely pink glassy tabular morganite crystal set on matrix. Measures 8.0 x 7.0 x 6.0 cm in size overall. The matrix consists of crystalline white albite and completely coats the back of the morganite crystal. No damage. This is a very fine large crystal. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Mr. Tate's notes said that this specimen was formerly in the collection of noted gem dealer Hermann Bank, Idar-Oberstein, Germany.
