description:
Amber colored glassy mostly transparent crystals of calcite measuring to 11.0 cm in size ringing around the upper end of a crystallized black sphalerite matrix. A snow white spherical shaped crystal grouping of barite 6.5 cm across is set in the center of this matrix. Some micro-cleaving to the calcite, though for the most part these are in very good condition. Some damage present upon the sphalerite matrix on the lower side of the piece below the barite ball. Naturally crystallized on the backside as well. Measures 30.0 x 21.0 x 13.0 cm in size. Shipping weight: 17 pounds.
