Lustrous black curved rhombohedral crystals of calcite to 1.5 cm in size scattered throughout this crystallized quartz matrix. The quartz crystals are milky but lustrous and measure to 4.5 cm in size. The black color for the calcite due to inclusions of jamesonite. Classic material for this old enclosed locality, this is in great condition.
