Blocky rhombohedral crystals of calcite to 4.5 cm across set on a small amount of matrix. The calcite crystals are colorless and slightly translucent, most is coated by reddish brown limonite. Measures 6.0 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm overall. Very minimal micro-chipping present, still in very good condition. Quite choice for the species from this classic locality, specimens of the species from the locality are rarely seen available today.
