A beautiful large combination specimen from this classic mining district. Colorless scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 6.0 cm in length across the top of this crystallized quartz and lustrous black sphalerite crystal matrix. I think in exceptional condition for what this is with minimal chipping along one edge. Some of the calcite crystals show a slight deep color.
