Outstanding and very attractive large cabinet display piece collected during the early 1970s. Sits perfectly by itself for display, the top side of this 18.0 x 9.0 x 8.0 cm matrix is covered by sharp scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 1.0 cm in size. Dusted reddish-brown due to hematite, the top is scattered with beautiful iridescent crystals of chalcopyrite measuring to almost 1.0 cm in size. Very minimal micro-chipping present, for one of these this is in very good condition. This mine closed in the very early 1990s. Shipping weight: 2.6 pounds.
