Creedite
specimen number:
8642389
location:
Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
description:
Glistening crystals of colorless creedite to 0.5 cm in size across the top of this matrix. A good rich example for the species. The number painted on the back of the specimen tells me that at one time this was part of the collection at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. We distributed this collection over 30 years ago. That would date the specimen to pre-1970 based on the age of that particular collection.
