description:
A very good large example of what many call dissolution fluorite typical of this mining district. There are large cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 7.5 cm on edge, these on a base of yellow naturally etched were dissolved amber colored fluorite. Some think that these hollowed out areas held hydrocarbon that is now gone, others think barite. The specimen is in very good condition. Micro crystals of chalcopyrite are scattered throughout.
