description: Brilliant glassy gem amber colored crystals of fluorite averaging 0.5 cm in size aesthetic in a cluster with no attached matrix. Brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light. The quality on this one is much higher than normally seen from the locality. Crystallized calcite present as well. The Moscona mine, located near Solis within the Corvera de Asturias municipality of Asturias, Spain, is a prominent underground operation recognized as a leading producer of industrial and specimen-grade fluorite.
