An interesting and classic Midwestern association featuring root beer colored lustrous translucent cubic fluorite crystals measuring up to 2.0 cm on edge set atop a bluish bladed celestine crystal matrix. The fluorite crystals display good color and clarity with only very minor damage noted, while there is visible damage present to some of the celestine crystals as described. The contrast between the warm brown fluorite cubes and the cool blue bladed celestine creates a distinctive appearance typical of material from this locality. Of additional interest, the specimen comes with an antique label dating to the early 20th century, as shown at the end of the video, adding desirable historical provenance and collector appeal.
