description:
An interesting combination piece showing a gemmy purple crystal of fluorite 1.4 cm on edge set on one side of the matrix, a grouping of tabular fluorapatite crystals measuring 1.0 cm in size on the other side. This is in good condition, the fluorite crystal slightly cleaved on the backside of the crystal not seen when the piece is displayed. The fluorapatite crystals are brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light.
