description: Large non-lustrous purple cubic crystals of fluorite, these measuring to 6.0 cm on a diagonal, covering the top of a 30.0 x 16.0 x 7.0 cm matrix. Galena also present is a cubic crystal grouping 4.5 cm on a diagonal. Very minimal chipping present is seen. Minor sphalerite present as well. Rather old specimen dating to pre-1970, I would guess that this comes from the Deardorff mine. Shipping weight: 11.41 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
