Geologically, the deposit sits within hydrothermal vein and replacement systems associated with regional granitic magmatism, where fluorine-rich fluids interacted with surrounding carbonate or sedimentary host rocks to form crystallized pockets. Mineralogically, the mine achieved fame for producing exceptionally sharp, transparent, glassy green fluorite crystals, often modified with octahedral or dodecahedral habits, frequently perched upon or included with sparkling white quartz matrices. Commercial specimen production from this specific site was short-lived, making high-quality pieces scarce and highly sought after by global collectors today
