A grouping of thick stalactites of what is termed psilomelane, I think possibly cryptomelane, these covered with hematite. In super condition. This is a unique one-of-a-kind piece from this famous old locality. Really outstanding. The specimen comes with a previous collection label from Harry Roberson as shown at the end of the video. The specimen was figured in The Mineralogical Record, January, February, 2024 issue, page 98, figure 31. This was on public display at the Tucson, 2017 and Denver, 2023 shows.
