A superb specimen for the species from this famous locality, lustrous crystals of manganite measuring to 0.5 cm in size are covering the front of this matrix. Thin platy colorless crystals of barite measuring to 1.0 cm in size are scattered throughout. This is in excellent condition. The specimen is figured in the magazine The Mineralogical Record, volume 51, page 447, figure number 76. This locality closed in 1963. This specimen is also figured in our ad featuring this collection in The Mineralogical Record, September, October, 2024.
