The piece is in great condition with no significant damage noted. Cavnic is part of the historic Maramures mining district of northwestern Romania, a world renowned epithermal vein system celebrated for its diverse sulfide mineralization and distinctive pseudomorphs, making this an excellent example from a classic European locality.
