Glassy mostly gemmy crystals of quartz to almost 2.0 cm in size across the top of this kidney ore hematite matrix. Micaceous metallic crystals of hematite are scattered throughout. Slight chipping along the edges of the piece, this still in good condition. A previous label comes with the specimen from the Carnegie Museum.
