Rhodochrosite
specimen number:
2022691
location:
San Antonio Mine, East Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdan, Chihuahua, Mexico
description: Beautiful pearly pink crystals of rhodochrosite measuring to 0.6 cm in size over the top of a 3.0 x 2.0 x 1.0 cm matrix. This sits nicely by itself for display, there is minor chipping on what I consider to be the bottom part of the matrix. This is mostly out of view when the piece is displayed as shown in the photograph. The color and luster are very nice. Shipping weight: 0.04 pounds. Ex Chris & Agatha Galas collection.
Size: 3.0 x 2.0 x 1.0 cm (thumbnail)
