Gorgeous deep red translucent lustrous rhombohedral crystals of rhodochrosite forming a loose floater cluster measuring 6.0 x 4.5 x 2.5 cm in size. The front side of this is dotted with pale purple translucent cubic crystals of fluorite averaging 0.3 to 0.4 cm. Complete all around and in excellent condition. Fine combination specimen for this famous locality! Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 29: 4. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
