Classic specimen for this well noted pocket at this famous mine consisting of beautiful reddish pink translucent to almost transparent lustrous rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals to 1.5 cm in size thick over the top of a needle like quartz matrix. This measures 11.5 x 5.5 x 1.5 cm in size. In outstanding condition. The quality is really fine for this pocket. We have owned of the specimen, and sold it, numerous times in the past. At one point this was in the collection of Peter Via, then Lloyd Tate, recently with Mark and Karen Vendl. We are now happy to have it back as it is a super specimen. Video available upon request. Comes with a custom made acrylic display base.
