A wonderful example for the species from this famous mining district, rhombohedral crystals of pink rhodochrosite measuring to 0.5 cm in size are scattered beautifully across the top of a crystallized quartz matrix. The specimen is in excellent condition and comes with a previous collection label as shown at the end of the video. This is set up on a matrix of pyrite.
