Very choice in fine brown platy crystals rich across the front of matrix. This is in very good condition.

Roweite from the Shijiangshan Mine in Inner Mongolia, China occurs in a skarn type deposit formed where intrusive rocks altered surrounding carbonate rocks. The mine has produced a variety of borate and manganese bearing minerals from pockets and altered zones within the skarn.
