description:
Rhombohedral crystals of siderite measuring to 5.5 cm in size across the front of this matrix with glassy crystals of quartz. Minor fluorapatite and pyrite are present as well. In good condition. A nice large cabinet combination piece. Collected in 2001. The fluorapatite crystals are brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light.
