description: Very aesthetic example for the species with a large lustrous deep red translucent crystal of spessartine 3.0 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm in size perched beautifully at the top of a white blocky albite crystal matrix. Minor black needlelike schorl crystals present as well. Complete all-around, I think in outstanding condition. Measures 5.5 x 3.5 x 3.0 cm. Shipping weight: 0.14 pounds. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
