description: Bright lustrous deep red slightly translucent crystals of sphalerite measuring to 2.0 cm in size across the top of a chert matrix with yellow gemmy lustrous crystals of sphalerite and white dolomite. The sphalerite crystals exhibit slight translucency. This is in really good condition. These at one time were referred to as Ruby Jack sphalerite. This is a very good one and quite old.
