Good old time Midwest US classic consisting of beautifully iridescent and large crystals of semi lustrous sphalerite measuring to 2.5 cm in size across the top of a thin massive sphalerite matrix. Sharp crystals of golden chalcopyrite to 0.3 cm in size are scattered throughout. Crystallized naturally all around and in good condition with just slight cleaving along one edge. The specimen comes with an antique label and dates to pre-1940.
