Wulfenite
specimen number:
4751045
location:
Red Cloud mine, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA
description: An attractive grouping of two lustrous orange red wulfenite crystals with very little attached matrix. This is in perfect condition all around. There is a large trail of paperwork that comes with the specimen. I originally acquired this piece from the collection of Mrs. Robert Wenzel of St. Louis. The specimen was originally collected by the famous American field collector Ed Over. Several other antique labels come with the specimen as seen at the end of the video. The specimen is figured in both The Mineralogical Record, July, August, 2016, and in Rocks and Minerals, volume 95, page 241.
