Very choice example for this locality with glassy partly gemmy red rhombohedral crystals of calcite to 1.5 cm across over the top of a 12.0 x 9.0 x 4.5 cm matrix. Very minimal micro-chipping present, this mainly confined to the edges of the piece. Great color, luster, and translucency. The red color due to hematite. Very fine cabinet example for this locality close since 1991. Shipping weight: 0.78 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
