Fluorite
specimen number:
1602839
location:
Minerva mine #1, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description:
An absolute gem of a miniature fluorite from southern Illinois. The faces are glass, the crystals are gemmy and show attractive color zoning. This is in very good condition with just tiny and minimal micro-chipping present. Crystallized naturally all around. Neatly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light as well. Gorgeous when backlit as shown at the end of the video.
