Fluorite with Quartz
specimen number:
2013302
location:
Davis-Dearfoff Mine, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description:
Attractive rosy purple gemmy and lustrous crystals of fluorite to 0.7 cm in size across the top of a sparkling crystallized quartz matrix. Classic material for this locality, this would have likely been collected in the 1960s. Micro-damage is present but overall quite good and the color contrast makes this very attractive. Originally from the collection of David Straw.
Size: 9.5 x 4.0 x 4.0 cm (cabinet)
Collection: Harris Precht
