description:
Classic specimen from Illinois with attractive rosy purple translucent and lustrous cubic crystals of fluorite measuring to 1.2 cm on edge across the top of a glistening colorless quartz crystal matrix. Minor sphalerite is present. In good condition with very minimal micro-damage and cleaving present. This would date to the 1960s most likely. Previously from the collection of Louis Lafayette.
