An attractive combination specimen lustrous translucent crystals of amethyst measuring to 5.0 cm in size stacked on matrix and accented beautifully with reddish scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 1.0 cm. The specimen is in very good condition. The calcite crystals are brightly fluorescent red under long wave ultraviolet light.
